Pat is a seasoned psychotherapist based in Toronto. She has had a private practice for over 25 years providing counselling and psychotherapy for Individuals, couples and families. She treats adults, and adolescents and has extensive experience leading Personal Growth Groups and Workshops. In addition, she provides training and clinical supervision for social workers, psychotherapists, counselors and front-line workers. She has worked in numerous settings including guidance education, hospital and community-based settings as well as her ongoing private practice. She has had in-depth training in a range of psychotherapeutic theories and practices. These include Psychodynamic Therapy, Relational and Self Psychology, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, Trauma Treatment, Psychodrama, Family Therapy, Conflict Resolution, and Narrative, Cognitive and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She specializes in the following areas: anxiety, depression, trauma, and couples therapy. Pat has acted as the Coordinator of a downtown alternative Toronto high school and President of the Board of Directors at West End Parents’ Daycare. She has been a Clinical Member of The Ontario Society of Psychotherapists since 1994 and has served as Chair of Nomination, Vice President, President, and Past President. Currently she is an elected member of The Council of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).

She helps people become aware of and understand their own self-defeating patterns and move forward in new and healthy ways. She understands that change is inevitable, and supports people in working through their feelings and experiences. Pat maintains high ethical standards of practice and is committed to working together with clients in their journey towards self-empowerment, personal growth and connection. Pat’s works with both short and long-term needs in a safe and caring atmosphere. She is known for her warmth, creativity, and gentle humour.
